Gabrielle Riles

Gabrielle “Gabby” Riles is a multimedia journalist/reporter for News 15.

Gabrielle joined News 15 in April of 2021 from her hometown "The Big Easy". She was born and raised just two hours away in New Orleans, LA. She holds a master's degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

While in Syracuse, she interned at the local ABC affiliate, WYSR. Gabrielle has also anchored, reported, and produced content for her alma mater's news station, Newhouse Communications Center (NCC News).

Before her time in Syracuse, Gabrielle attended Fisk University in Nashville, TN where she obtained her bachelor's degree in English. While there, she interned for two local newspapers: The Nashville Scene and The Tennessee Tribune. Gabrielle is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).

Gabrielle is a “people’s person” and she loves telling stories that give a voice to those in the community. When she isn’t in front of the camera, you can catch her cooking her favorite NOLA dishes, shopping, or staying fit. She is also a dog mom to her 10-year-old toy poodle, Jasper.
