“Kenny hails from the Red Stick, Baton Rouge by way of Virginia. He moved to Lafayette in 2012 after completing high school and majored in Criminal Justice from 2012-2016 at UL-Lafayette.

After graduating, Kenny’s career aspirations changed so he re-enrolled at UL in the spring of 2019 to pursue his second bachelor’s in Mass Communication with a concentration in Broadcasting.

During his stint, he would serve as the solo anchor and sports anchor for his two TV News courses as well as intern at 103.7 The Game in Lafayette during his final semester in fall 2020. He landed his first job in the industry as a Digital Web Producer/Weekend Assignment Desk Editor at News 15 in September 2020 before being promoted to Multimedia Journalist one month after graduating in December 2020.

In his spare time, Kenny loves listening to podcasts, music, watching documentaries and hanging with friends and family.”
