LAFAYETTE, LA- Today marks brandRUSSO’s twentieth year in business. Co-founders, Jaci and Michael
Russo, have gone through a few name changes, but their mission to build brands has remained the
same.

To begin the yearlong celebration, the partners are announcing the upcoming release of their book, He
Said, She Said: Branding, later this month. Published by Forbes Advantage Media, the book shares what
the Russos have learned over their combined decades of experience working with branding and each
other.

After spending several years in Los Angeles, hustling as a Junior Talent Agent at Creative Artist Agency
and working as Barry Diller’s right-hand woman, Jaci returned to her hometown of Lafayette. Michael
had recently returned from Seattle where he worked as a freelance designer and copywriter as well as
several roles in the hospitality industry. The couple met through mutual friends in 1997 and were
married six months later.

In 2001, Jaci and Michael combined their strategic and creative minds, and the agency was founded.
Originally called One Eyed Jack, the agency was named after their first-born son. Three daughters and
three name changes later, today the agency is known as brandRUSSO. Located in Downtown Lafayette,
brandRUSSO is a strategic branding agency that delivers the promise behind the brand by changing the
conversation.

According to Michael, “Hard work, an ability to evolve with changing times, and a commitment to clients
are credited to their success.” The agency has served nearly 2,000 clients throughout the country in its
two decades of business. “While the landscape of marketing and advertising changes,” said Michael,
“our process has remained the same, and it’s proven to be very successful for us.”

“Our unique company culture also has its rewards. When our employees are happy, we find that
business is good,” adds Jaci. “We treat our employees like adults. We work hard for our clients, and we
are rewarded with good benefits and flexibility.” RUSSO currently employs 14 full-time employees and
two part-time employees in its Lafayette headquarters.
