"Real ID is about identifying yourself to the federal government for the planes it's a post nine eleven law that came into effect"
The original date of compliance was set for October 1, 2020 but due to the Covid-19 pandemic it has now been pushed back to May 3, of 2023. Many have questioned whether or not there current ID will become invalid and huval says no.
"Now a non ID drivers license is not a fake ID okay a lot of people get that confused it's just not federally complient"
The process of getting a real id is fairly similar to getting a regular driver's license you will be able to take a new picture like normal but you must provide the following documents.
