A Ville Platte man faces thousands of dollars in fines and prison time after getting arrested for his fourth drunk-driving offense.

41-year-old Justin Tezeno was arrested by state police on highway 190 in the Opelousas area just after 1:30 this morning.

A fourth-offense OWI charge carries a $5,000 fine and a sentence of 10-30 years behind bars with at least two years served without parole, probation or suspension of sentence.

Tezeno was booked into the st. Landry parish jail.
