Vermilion Parish School System will follow the statewide mask mandate that has been put in place until September 1, 2021.

VERMILION, La. (KADN) - Several parents were concerned about COVID-19 guidelines in schools as the state hit its fourth wave of the virus.

Today, the superintendent for the Vermilion Parish School Board, Tommy Byler, released the statement below on Facebook in regards to the matter.

Blyer announced due to the statewide mask mandate that is in place until September 1, 2021 students will be required to wear masks.
