Uncle: Body found in Mississippi River identified as Kori Gauthier

Kori Gauthier was reported missing on April 6. Her car was found on the Mississippi River bridge in Baton Rouge.

OPELOUSAS, La. (KADN) - The uncle of Kori Gauthier has confirmed that the body pulled out of the Mississippi River in St. John the Baptist Parish over the weekend was hers.

Spencer Gauthier posted a four-minute long Facebook video Wednesday afternoon with the information.

Kori Gauthier was reported missing on April 6. Her car was found on the Mississippi River bridge in Baton Rouge.

Kori Gauthier was an LSU student and a native of Opelousas.
