As of right now, the only curfew in Lafayette Parish will be in the Town of Duson from 8:00 P.M. Monday, October 12, 2020 until 6:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 13, 2020. During those hours, only essential and emergency personnel in Duson will be allowed to travel.

Several locations in Lafayette Parish are still without power and some roadways remain obstructed. Lafayette Mayor-President Josh Guillory, after consultation with the Mayors, Chiefs of Police, and Chiefs of Fire in Lafayette Parish, is strongly advising all Parish residents not under curfew to continue to stay off roadways unless travel is absolutely necessary. Several utility and debris removal crews remain active across the Parish and it is important that they be allowed to continue recovery operations without the risk of putting residents or themselves in danger.
