Detectives with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office, along with the IPSO SWAT Team executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 2300 blk of Rose Lane in Iberia Parish on March 3, 2021 at approximately 6:30 am.
The search warrant was in reference to a string of Catalytic Converter thefts which occurred in Iberia Parish. Detectives located the suspect Trevor James Gaspard (m, 24 yrs. old) in the residence alone with the homeowner Jonathan Harry Standridge (m, 37 yrs. old) who had open arrest warrants. Both subjects were taken into custody without incident.
Detectives were able to locate a single Catalytic Converter. Both suspects were transported to the Iberia Parish Jail and booked on the following charges.

Possession of a firearm by convicted felon
Criminal Damage to Property
(WARRANT) Criminal Damage to Property
(WARRANT) Domestic Abuse Battery by Strangulation
Sheriff Tommy Romero stated this has been an ongoing issue in Iberia Parish and in the surrounding areas. More arrests are pending.
