Lafayette, La. (KADN) - Three people are facing charges in an early Friday morning homicide in Lafayette Parish.
According to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, Christopher Williams, 36, of Lafayette was shot and killed near Seafood Lane on September 17.
Deputies were called about 1:20 a.m. for reports of a vehicle crash, then possible shooting.
Lason Edmond, 20; Brian Derousselle, 34; and a 17-year-old juvenile are all charged with first-degree and attempted first-degree murder.
Edmond was arrested Saturday in the case.
According to deputies, a search warrant for a home on Gathe Lane was obtained.
"Multiple attempts were made to persuade the suspect to exit the residence before Lafayette Parish Sheriff's SWAT Operators made entry into the home, where... Derousselle was located," the release stated.
LPSO said the 17-year-old was arrested in St. Landry Parish.
