On April 7, 2020, the Crowley Police Department responded to the 100 Blk. of W. 4th St. in reference to a complaint of shots being fired.
Upon officer’s arrival, it was learned that the suspect, Ronald Felix Jr., 29, fired multiple shot at the victim residence. Prior to the shooting, the victim and suspect were involved in an altercation which led to the shooting. Two victims were inside of the residence during the incident and no injuries were reported.
After completing the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for the suspect. The warrant was for two counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder and one count of Assault by drive by shooting. Once the warrant was issued, the suspect had been avoiding capture.
On the early morning hours of Nov. 25, 2020, the suspect was located by the Crowley Police Department during an unrelated incident. During that time, the suspect was in possession of a stolen firearm. He was subsequently arrest for the active warrant along with multiple unrelated charges.
He is currently being held in the Acadia Parish Jail.
