St. Landry Parish Government employee arrested for alleged possession of marijuana and malfeasance in office

EUNICE, LA – A St. Landry Parish Government employee was seen allegedly utilizing drugs by an anonymous bystander on Thursday April 29, 2021. After receiving the anonymous call, Parish President Jessie Bellard went to Eunice to inspect the claim.

After further inspection, the employee was immediately terminated and taken into custody by the local Marshal’s Office.
