Lafayette, La. - On November 17 at approximately 6:00 pm, officers with the Lafayette Police Department responded to the 600 Blk of N. Washington Street in reference to a shooting incident.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim lying in the roadway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. First responders quickly administered first-aid measures and were joined shortly thereafter by Acadian Ambulance personnel.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and was listed in stable condition at the time of this release.
There is no suspect information at the time.
This is an ongoing investigation.
