Roanoke Man Arrested for Alleged Home Invasion

On Sunday, September 13, 2020, Deputies responded to 11262 Nelson Road, Iowa, Louisiana, in reference to a suspicious circumstances complaint. Deputies were advised Gregory Bonnette forced his way into an outdoor kitchen at the residence. While responding to the call, Communications advised deputies a second caller reported a male walking down the street that appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Upon arrival at the residence, Deputies observed the entrance to the kitchen open. Deputies drove to the intersection and located a white male standing in the roadway. The male was identified as Gregory Scott Allen Bonnette, 32, 17180 Compton road, Roanoke. The complainant showed up at the location and reported that Bonnette had threatened to kill anyone who was at the residence. Bonnette was arrested and booked into the parish jail for home invasion, and two counts of contempt of court. This was Bonnette’s nineteenth arrest.
