New Iberia officials are asking motorist to refrain from driving on any streets that are flooded.

New Iberia officials are asking motorist to refrain from driving on any streets that are flooded to avoid flood water being pushed into residences and businesses. More rain is forecasted for the afternoon. Avoid getting on the roads if at all possible until flood waters subside.

Below are a list of flooded roadways in New Iberia:

Admiral Doyle Road and Lewis Road. Cars are turning around, Road impassable.

There are reports of Freetown Road being under water
