NEW IBERIA, La. --- The Downtown Arts & Crafts Market is coming to downtown New Iberia on Sat., April 24, 2021 from 4-7 p.m.

The market will be located along both sides of Main Street. It will begin at the Shadows-on-the-Teche on the East Main Street side, all the way down to West Main Street at Cane River Pecan Company, and also include Pelican’s on the Bayou (Jefferson Street) and Paul Schexnayder’s Gallery on the corner of Railroad Street and W. St. Peter Street.

The event will include art and photography exhibits, eateries, cake shops, gift boutiques, art galleries and handmade crafts. Plans are also under way to have music downtown during these hours.

Those interested in being an exhibitor, should e-mail Jane Braud their contact information, what their display will be, and if they have a location preference.

Downtown businesses are invited to stay open and to sponsor an artist, either inside their business or outside.

The sponsors for this event are the City of New Iberia, New Iberia Main Street Program, and the Downtown Business Alliance, Inc.

The New Iberia Main Street program will post a map with exhibitors and their locations on its Facebook page. For more information, please contact Jane Braud at (337) 369-2330 or jbraud@cityofnewiberia.com.
