Motorcyclist dies from injuries from single vehicle crash

The motorcyclist was involved in the single-vehicle crash on June 6, and succumbed to his injuries today.

Lafayette - According to the Lafayette Police Department, the motorcyclist, identified as Noah Comeaux, W/M 19, of Lafayette, La, involved in single vehicle crash on June 6, succumbed to his  injuries. On June 6 at approximately 2:00 am, officers with the Lafayette Police Department responded to a single vehicle traffic crash in the 4600 Blk of Johnston St.

The investigation revealed that the vehicle was traveling eastbound. For unknown reasons, the driver lost control of the motorcycle, and was ejected off of it. The driver impacted a metal pole at the intersection of Johnston St. and Lana Dr.

The driver was transported to a local hospital with multiple injuries. Today, June 9, the driver succumbed to those injuries.

This investigation is ongoing.
