Iberville Parish Council Office Of Emergency Preparedness Issued A Mandatory Emergency Evacuation Due to High Water

A mandatory emergency evacuation has been issued for all Bayou Sorrel residents south of J R. Drive and all Bayou Pigeon residents.

A mandatory emergency evacuation has been issued for all Bayou Sorrel residents south of J R. Drive and all Bayou Pigeon residents.
You are advised to evacuate immediately to the Carl F. Grant Civic Center Red Cross shelter located at 24700 J Gerald Berret Blvd. In Plaquemine.

The emergency evacuation route is hwy 404 toward Plaquemine. The highway 75 route is closed do to high water and flooding across the roadway. Do not evacuate in any other direction. Please take only essential items and medication only.
