Lafayette Police responded to shots fired call near Hayes and N Pierce Street.

LAFAYETTE, La. - According to Senior Cpl. Bridgette Dugas of the Lafayette Police Department, a shots fired call came in around 2pm.

The caller stated they were fired upon but when officers arrived there was no evidence of gunfire.

No injuries have been reported.
