LAFAYETTE, La. (KADN) - Lafayette Police have arrested one man for a Thursday (October 28) morning shooting that injured two people.

Officers responded to a reported shooting in the 3200 block of Louisiana Avenue around 9:30 a.m.

When officers arrived, they located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment for non-life threatening injuries and are considered to be in stable condition.

Investigators arrested Jamarcus Davis in connection to the shooting. Davis is charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, illegal carrying of weapons and possessoin of a firearm by a convicted felon.
