UPDATE: Missing 3-year-old from Basile found safe

UPDATE (6:10 am May 13) - According to LSP, missing Basile 3-year-old, Ashton Willis, has been found safe  


BASILE, La. (KADN) - The Louisiana State Police has issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory for a 3-year-old from Basile.

LSP is asking for help locating Ashton Michael Willis. He was last seen on Sunday, May 9 on Second Street in Basile with his non-custodial mother, Ashley Nicole Bang.

Bang also goes by Ashley Willis.

According to LSP, Ashton Willis is believed to be in imminent danger.

Ashton Willis has dark brown hair and brown eyes. He is about 3-feet tall and weighs about 40 pounds. He was wearing a t-shirt and diaper when last seen.

Bang, 32, is wanted for questioning in the child's disappearance. She has brown hair and eyes. Bang is about 5'2" and weighs approximately 115 pounds.

LSP said she is possibly in a 1998 white Chenrolet Cavalier with Louisiana license plate 448EBW.
