LDH: 551 New COVID-19 Cases, 30 new deaths reported

As of Wednesday, October 13, 2021, according to the Louisiana Department of Health, Louisiana has 750,473 COVID-19 cases across the state with 14,268 deaths resulting from COVID-19.

LOUISIANA (KADN) - As of Wednesday, October 13, 2021, according to the Louisiana Department of Health, Louisiana has 750,473 COVID-19 cases across the state with 14,268 deaths resulting from COVID-19.

St. Landry- 13,882 cases, 342 deaths
St. Martin- 8,308 cases, 160 deaths
St. Mary- 8,482 cases, 214 deaths
Vermilion-10,074 cases, 183 deaths

551 new cases reported in the state with 30 new deaths resulting from COVID-19.

Five Acadiana parishes are now  "high community risk" of spread. That's down from being in the "highest" category. The parishes are: Lafayette, Iberia, St. Martin, Acadia and Jeff Davis.
