LDH: 1,077 new COVID-19 cases, 29 new deaths reported Oct. 18

The Louisiana Department of Health reported 1,077 new cases of COVID-19 on October 18.

(KADN) - The Louisiana Department of Health reported 1,077 new cases of COVID-19 on October 18.

They also reported 29 new deaths.

Across the state, 421 people are in hospitals to receive treatment for COVID symptoms. 68 of those are on ventilators.

Since the state started keeping track in 2020, 752,951 cases of COVID have been recorded and 14,350 deaths.
