LDH: 495 new COVID-19 cases reported Wednesday

231 people are hospitalized across the state for treatment of COVID-19 symptoms.

BATON ROUGE (KADN) - The Louisiana Department of Health reported 495 new cases of COVID-19 cases in the state on Wednesday and 13 new deaths.

That brings the state's death toll from the virus to 14,662.

231 people are hospitalized across the state for treatment of COVID-19 symptoms.

In LDH Region 4, 78 new cases and no new deaths were reported.

Region 4 is made up of Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin and Vermilion Parishes.
