Deputies were dispatched to Pine Island Highway in reference to a subject trespassing on the property on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 10:20pm. As deputies approached the location they observed a male dressed in a black t-shirt and dark pants walking on the roadway.
Upon arrival at the residence, the deputies were told by the complainant that she observed the same male dressed in black was trespassing on the property at the residence.
Deputies left the complainant to locate the suspect they observed walking. When approached by deputies, the suspect fled on foot, ignoring deputies commands to stop. Deputies pursued the suspect into a field and had to deploy tazer to get the suspect to surrender.
Lee Allen Moir, 45, of Kinder, LA was booked into the parish jail on charges, criminal trespassing, resisting an officer, flight from an officer and resisting an officer with violence.
