St. Martinville Teenager Accused Of Making Death Threats

A 14-year-old boy is facing charges of terrorizing after he allegedly made death threats against a group of people.

(St. Martinville, La.)--A 14-year-old boy is facing charges of terrorizing after he allegedly made death threats against a group of people. Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint regarding alleged death threats made by a 14 year-old-boy, towards an unkown group of people. Following an initial investigation into the allegations, Deputies obtained a search warrant for the juvenile’s residence. Following the execution of the search warrant, Deputies recovered items that were consistent with the allegations.

At the end of the investigation, the suspect was arrested and charged as follows:

LA. R.S. 14:40.1-Terrorizing-1 count

Following his arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center and was  transferred to the Lafayette Juvenile Detention Center. At the time of this release, no bond had been set.

The investigation regarding this incident remains ongoing.
