JDPSO: Iowa woman facing charges after allegedly attacking couple

A woman told deputies that the accused "came up and attacked her and her boyfriend."

JEFFERSON DAVIS PARISH, La. (KADN) - An Iowa woman is facing charges after she allegedly attacked a couple.

According to the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office, Christina Woodruff, 31, is charged with two counts simple assault and domestic abuse battery.

Deputies were called to Woodridge Road in Iowa on April 18 for a disturbance. When they got there, a woman told deputies that Woodruff "came up and attacked her and her boyfriend."

According to JDPSO, a witness was also hit by Woodruff when trying to break up the fight.

Woodruff's bond was set at $5,000.
