Astronauts Robert "Bob" Behnken and Douglas "Doug" Hurley Departed from the International Space Station Saturday evening in the SpaceX Crew Dragon "Endeavour" capsule. This will mark the end of the SpaceX Demo-2 Mision that saw Astronauts return to Space from the US in almost a decade.

The capsule which will return to Earth on Sunday, August 2nd will make the first-ever splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico at 1:41 PM Central due to Tropical Storm (at the time of writing this article) Isaias. Traditionally splashdowns have occurred in the Atlantic Ocean and this will be the first-ever crewed splashdown in the Gulf. The Splashdown is planned to occur off the coast of Panama City, Florida and crews will take the capsule and astronauts to Pensacola after a successful landing.

The SpaceX Crew Dragon Mission is expected to make its next flight in the Fall of this year sending NASA and JAXA (Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronauts to the International Space Station.
