Inmate Wanted for Escape Turns Himself In

UPDATE: 11/13/2020- On November 12, 2020, escaped trustee, Duane Lemaire contacted Jeff Davis Sheriff’s office and advised he was at a local church in Jennings and wanted to turn himself in. Deputies located Lemaire and took him into custody. Duane Lemaire, 50, of  Jennings, LA was charged with simple escape and booked into the parish jail with no bond.


Jeff Davis Sheriff's office is searching for a trustee that walked off of a work detail Sunday evening.
Duane Lemaire, 50, of  Jennings, LA was incarcerated on a probation violation and assigned as a trustee.
