According to Chief Morris Beverly, at approximately 5:49 PM, the Franklin Police Department received a call of shots fired at a vehicle on Morris Street near Franklin Junior High School. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the driver who stated that the vehicle was shot at by several unknown male subjects. The driver also stated that the passengers in the vehicle at the time of the shooting exited and fled the area on foot. Upon further investigations, the Franklin Police Department received information that the shooting occurred on O'Neal Chube Street near Martin Luther King Boulevard. No one was injured and investigation efforts continue.
