Four Dogs in Need of Being Resued After Sewer Line Breaks at Vill Platte Dog Shelter

VILLE PLATTE, La. - According to the Facebook Group,Ville Platte Shelter Sewage Disaster, as of  5:20 PM Thursday, August 19, out of 9 shelter pets there are only 4 more to save. 

The group asked for immediate assistance in getting the pets resued due to a sewage line break leaking into the dog kennels .

A discription of each dog in need of resuing can be found below:


JOEL (HW NEGATIVE) - How is sweet Joel still at the VP pound? He is stunning and loves to play with other dogs! He weighs 55 lbs.

TJ (HW positive) -This boy was dumped in the VP pound after his owners got a new puppy. He is such a friendly dog. He is full of energy because he has been kenneled for so many months. He weighs 44 lbS. Human and dog friendly.

HAYDEN (HW positive) - Hayden weighs in at 63 lbs. he is such a kind boy to humans and dogs. He has sadly been in the VP pound for well over 100 days.

CHANCE (HW positive) - Chance thinks he is a lap dog. He loves humans and dogs. He weighs 58 lbs, but he doesn’t know that!
