Officers initiated a traffic stop on a silver Nissan Titan for a non functioning headlight on July 9, 2021. Officers made contact with the driver identified as Gary Hill, 51.
During the stop K9 Max was deployed and upon showing a positive alert to the odor of Narcotics, a Probable Cause Search was conducted, which resulted in approximately 33.5 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, 17 Tramadol Pills, unknown amount of Marijuana and suspected Fentanyl/Heroin.
Hill was placed under arrest. Upon further investigation, officers were led to Grady Daniel's residence in the 700 blk of Lucy St. Upon making contact with Daniels, written permission to search the property was granted. It should be noted that Daniels has a Felony Arrest Warrant for (Carrying a Firearm by a Convicted Felon).
Officers observed James Dubroc, 52 asleep on a bed with approximately 16 dosage units of a legend drug, approximately 1-2 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine and a scale next to himself while at the residence at which time he was placed under arrest. Officers observed Britney Charbonnet inside the residence, it should be noted that Charbonnet has active felony warrants which include a total of 4 Felony charges between the two warrants. Upon contacting JDSO to hold all 4 subjects, the jail refused to hold Daniel's, Dubroc and Charbonnet due to lack of quarantine bed space but did accept booking on Gary Hill.
