Crowley Police Chief Jimmy Broussard pleaded not guilty to 6 felony charges in the 15th judicial district court.

(KADN) - Crowley Police Chief Jimmy Broussard pleaded not guilty to 6 felony charges in the 15th judicial district court. According to AcadiaParishToday.com, Bill Good- Broussard's Attorney filed the pleas ahead of Friday's court appearance.

An Acadia Parish Police Jury indicted Broussard back in February on three counts of malfeasance in office, two counts of obstruction of justice and one count of first-degree injuring public records.

Broussard's case is currently set for motions on June 18th and pre-trial hearings on September 27th.
