Creswell Middle School Was Placed on Lockdown After Threatening Message Found on Bathroom Wall

After a search was conducted and the campus was deemed safe students returned to normal activity.

OPELOUSAS, La. - Creswell Middle School was placed on locked down earlier today after a message written on the wall in a bathroom threatened that a shooting would occur at the school on Friday.

The message was not noticed until about 11:00 AM and that’s when the school was placed on lockdown.

After a search was conducted and the campus was deemed safe students returned to normal activity. Parents were notified about the incident.

The matter is still under investigation.
