LOUISIANA – Using tech to connect with others isn’t just a millennial thing. Today, more than half of adults over 50 are using technology to access social networks and send/receive IMs and emails. A smaller segment is even testing the waters with online dating apps.

Professional relationship guru and matchmaker Amanda Ortiz can offer tips to help your readers and/or viewers in this camp successfully navigate the new world of dating and technology.

Cox has teamed up with Ortiz and the dating pros at mycheekydate.com to host a one-night virtual speed dating event in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and New Orleans on Tuesday, March 23 at 7:00 PM. To participate, people can visit https://louisianaspeeddating.eventbrite.com to find love online!

Matches will be revealed during the virtual event.

In advance of the event, Ortiz will be available for a virtual interview to offer tips to Louisiana’s 50+ crowd in the market for a new relationship.
