Cox Crews Mobilizing to Reconnect Acadiana

Posted: Aug 27, 2020 9:29 AM

Lafayette, La. - Cox has mobilized its employees to begin assessing damage and restoring services outages caused by Hurricane Laura. In times like this we understand it is important to stay connected and we want our services to be there to help you do that.

“Our thoughts are with the Acadiana communities impacted and we will not rest until all of our south Louisiana footprint is reconnected,” said Anthony Pope, senior vice president and region manager of Cox Southeast. “We’re working hard to restore any impacted services with the safety of our employees and customers in mind.”

Our crews will visit area neighborhoods to assess damage and will restore neighborhood services when it is safe to do so and after power crews have completed their repairs.

Cox Solutions Stores in Lafayette, Abbeville, New Iberia and Patterson remain closed for the day. For information on the store closures and other updates please visit cox.com.

As the recovery efforts begin, Cox would like to remind residents:
