Carencro House Fire Causes Significant Structure Damage

Carencro fire department along with Scott, Lafayette and Duson fire departments responded to a residential fire in the 100 block of Linares street in Lafayette Parish.

The Carencro fire department along with Scott, Lafayette and Duson fire departments responded to a residential fire in the 100 block of Linares street in Lafayette Parish. Carencro arrived on scene to find fire in the back corner bedroom which had already traveled to the attic. The fire in the attic cause significant damage to the structure causing the roof to collapse. All occupants were able to get out safely. The cause of the fire is under investigation
