Lafayette, LA (KADN) -- The Ragin Cajuns football team is beginning another road to a Sun Belt Conference title.  Louisiana started spring football practice on Tuesday after wrapping up the Identity program of offseason workouts.  The players grateful to have spring football after it was canceled last year midway through because of the pandemic.  They finished 2020 as Co-Sun Belt Championship with Coastal Carolina anyway.

"I feel like we made up alot of the ground in the summer you know,"  defensive end Zi'Yon Hill said.  "We worked hard day in and day out, but I feel like this spring is our chance to turn it up a notch and fix the little things like I said and make sure everyone is on board."

As of Tuesday,  it is 172 days until the Ragin' Cajuns season opener against Texas on September 4th.
