St. Martinville, LA.-Sheriff Becket Breaux announces that Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office received reports of four burglaries that occurred at residences in the Cecilia and Breaux Bridge area of St. Martin Parish between October 14, 2020 and October 18, 2020. An investigation was initiated and through the course of the investigation, Deputies identified the suspect as Clinton Edmond, 57, Breaux Bridge.
At the culmination of the investigation, a warrant of arrest was obtained and Deputies arrested Clinton Edmond, the evening of Monday, October 19, 2020 and charged him as follows:

LA. R.S. 14:56-Attempted Burglary-3 Counts
October 14, 2020-1500 Block of Nina Hwy.

October 14, 2020-1400 Block of Zin Zin Road

LA. R.S. 14:27.62-Attempted Burglary-3 Counts
October 18, 2020-1600 Block of Anse Broussard Hwy.

LA.R.S. 14:67.15 Theft of a Firearm
Following his arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges. At the time of this release, no bond had been set.
