Bomb Threat Called in to the State District Court building; All Clear Given

The all clear has been given by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office and the Lafayette Police department after a bomb threat was called into 911 around 8:30 this morning.

KADN/KLAF- The all clear has been given by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office and the Lafayette Police department after a bomb threat was called into 911 around 8:30 this morning. The target of the call was the State District Court building in Downtown Lafayette. A Sheriff's spokeswoman tells News 15 that as a precaution, the federal COurthouse and City Courthouse were also evacuated and searched. No bombs were found.
