The Covid-19 pandemic has taken it's toll on everyone, especially farmers.
But good news--the President's latest stimulus package is sets aside more money for agriculture to help.
The concern has mostly been on how restaurants will survive the pandemic but I checked in with a local farmer's market to see the impact it's had on them and surprisingly it wasn't too bad.
$10.4 billion dollars of the american rescue plan will support agriculture and about half will go towards disadvantaged farmers. The American Farm Bureau reported about a quarter of disadvantaged farmers are black.

While the president has made an effort to support farmers many of them have taken action into their own hands by supporting one another in different ways.
