Acadian Ambulance 'Treat-In-Place' program

Acadian Ambulance, the largest privately owned ambulance service in the United States, implemented a new program last summer called 'Treat-in-Place' which gives patients alternatives to being taken to the hospital.

Lafayette, La. - During the pandemic, emergency ambulance crews have been taking patients to hospitals that are at or near full capacity. 

Acadian Ambulance, the largest privately owned ambulance service in the United States, implemented a new program last summer called 'Treat-in-Place' which gives patients alternatives to being taken to the hospital.

The program is currently available in 35 parishes.
