UPDATE: Additional Victim Dead in St. Landry Parish Shooting

Two of the victims are being transported to a local hospital and the 3rd person has died at the scene.

UPDATE: Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz has now confirmed that an additional victim of last night's shooting in Morrow has died in an area hospital. The victims are identified as Michael Thomas, 29 of Washington who died at the scene, Ladarious Keller, 20 of Morrow, and Emmerick Simon 19, of Bunkie were also passengers inside the vehicle. Last night Ladarious Keller died as a result of his injuries after being transported to the hospital. Simon underwent surgery and is listed in stable condition. Both autopsies are scheduled for today. The shooting occurred on Cook St. on October 5, 2020 at approximately 8:15 pm.

There was an additional passenger inside the vehicle identified as Ladrius LeBlanc, 21 of Lebeau but he did not sustain any injuries.

Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz has confirmed the his detectives where on the scene of a possible drive by shooting in the Morrow area on October 5, 2020. Reports indicate that 3 people have been shot. Two of the victims are being transported to a local hospital and the 3rd person has died at the scene. No other information is being released as this is an ongoing investigation.
